Victory in Europe day does not need to be shared with the current conflict in the Ukraine. That's a separate war, can we not just remember our own war heroes without having to bring other wars in the world into it? |

I have mixed memories of V E Day in 1945 when I was all of 5 years old.
Happy memories of the street parties, not so happy though with the firework displays, a stray firework landed on my legs and I finished up at the local cottage hospital having my burns treated. |
