It's no secret that I prefer text messages, to voice notes. If I have my kids around or I'm in public, I either have to wait to listen to the message, or search for my headphones. 
Oh, and I hate my voice! Until this year, I'd never even sent one. 
As much as I love certain peoples voices, they'd be an awful option for here.  |

I like voice notes, it's a good way to get the message across. A written message can be misinterpreted, with a voice note you can hear their tone and feel what they are saying. A lot less likely to be misunderstood.
