Sometimes it can be that it's been moved to a different forum eg games. Have you clicked on your own green arrow? If it's been moved there will still be a link there.

I green arrowed myself and the thread has gone. But I did find a treasure trove of quality foruming.

I was in a thread that got removed the other day, I think. A guy started getting personal about my profile and preference and another person reported him and stated that in the the post and the thread got removed.

The post was not mine and was about a completely different subject and not related to me in any way.
