So I was wondering this morning ….
When you meet with others do you ask about STI checks ? Or do you just go with using protection and leave it at that?

It’s not something that I’m asked loads but I don’t get insulted if someone does, I’ve not had a meet that I haven’t used protection for though. I totally get it if bareback sex is what your after. |

Just thinking here .. is this is a bit porn industry overkill? I get the idea open discussion is good between people but it seems a bit stop-go sanitary.
You wouldn't ask the same question of someone you met on a night out, a close friend, a colleague, whoever it was you liked ... walking away if they hadn't.
Swingers meet infrequently really, so why give the appearance someone might be unsanitary - tests don't pick up everything and condom's/some form of protection will likely be used anyway |

If it’s a random meeting at a club, then no. Most clubs ban phones so it makes it difficult.
Planned meetings, absolutely, sharing results is a must. I get tested every three months and always happy to share results. |

Establishing a new relationship where there will (hopefully) be regular encounters and a potential for intimacy, have the conversation, use protection at least until boundaries around risk profiles are established and secure.
At a club and want the pretty thing, fuck it, just take the reasonable precautions and test a couple of weeks afterwards 💜 |
