There’s a way to avoid being bothered by it - don’t chat too much before a meet. Don’t invest too much emotion. Always have alternative plans. Work on the assumption that they won’t turn up.
The rest is intangible and hard to explain, but basically after a while you’ll be able to tell who’s likely to show up and who’s not. It’s easy to judge. |

I'd say it doesn't happen to the best.

Agree with this! … I always suggest a coffee for a first meet. If they don’t show I just cry into my espresso 😂😂😂

I did that in Uxbridge when I got ghosted. To top my day off I went in to Clarks to get some wallabees but they didn't sell them in there so found a pub and had a few beers. |

As a 'single' female on here, my primary aim is to stay safe.
I'll chat to people on here/forums, then go to messages, then chatting gets more personal so you go to WhatsApp, after WhatsApp you arrange to meet but at any stage in all of that, if I didn't feel safe, for whatever reason I will stop speaking and no reason or explanation given
Luckily I have never had to 'ghost' someone but I would if I didn't feel comfortable with who I was speaking to

Well, it was our first meet. But yeah ok I'll alter it.
We used to fucking suck OP, you'll get better at it over time. |

You can just take responsibility for your own behaviour and tactics. Refine and improve.
Report anyone who fails to turn up, to Admin. It's our job to keep the site standards as high as possible, in conjunction with their tools |
