Someone approached me and asked for a meet. I agreed and just a few hours before the meet, I found myself blocked.
Seriously, what's wrong with people? Where is the respect, decency and politeness? Why approach someone who you don't want to meet? This site really bring out the worst of humanity. Such a shame!  |

Sadly there are plentu of odd people. Of course someone can change their mind but there are decent ways to communicate that. At least you had not set off for somewhere and they did then. Sorry btw. |

OK. I'll ask the usual questions.
Was it all arranged via a couple of messages on here over a very briwf timescale, or did you chat for a while, speak to them on the phone, actually verify as much as possible they were who they claimed via a quick video chat or a coffee somewhere?
Because putting all your faith in words on a screen from a stranger will sadly increase the risk of being ghosted, catfished and having your time wasted.
There's much due diligence that can be done to minimise the chances of being let down. 🤷♂️ |

I did talk to him for a good few months, while I was on holiday abroad. I just came back a week ago. So it was not just a few messages, but had long conversations before. And this made me feel quite sad that people treat each other like this. |

I was meant to have a meet last month, middle of April. Day of the planned social. Was ghosted and blocked. Made me feel like a right dickhead.
Sadly OP people are twats. Onwards and upwards though. |

Most people are selfish dicks nowadays. Selfish, self absorbed, self obsessed and self serving. They don't seem to understand basic manners or courtesy. Consider yourself a better person and move on in the knowledge you dodged a bullet.

Sadly..very common on here..
Men get guilt(with me) mainly, enjoy the chase but cant follow through, as god forgive they would enjoy it.. it shatters their fragile ego's. Leaves them questioning their fragile sexuality.. what I do for the record has sweet F all to do with sexuality.. but they can't see that..
.. or feel they have built up by chatting stuff about themselves that when they have to "prove" it to you..they fold..like a cheap knapkins... |
