Have you ever reached that point with something where you just stop making excuses and change things?
I think I’m at that point. I feel really big and I need to get my health and weight in order.
I’ve reached that point in my career recently too and I’m making a career change.
Do you reach that point? Where you know it’s different to the other times. |

Yeah, sort of. In the past I found that I made excuses not to do things because friends or family weren't available to it with me whereas I think I've become a bit more bold in just doing it by myself. It still feels weird as fuck, but it's better than missing out altogether |

I have with both my career and with conventional relationships
My weight is different
It's a war, not a battle
There have been wins and there have been defeats
I am lighter now than I was 20 years ago, so I guess overall, I am winning, but I am currently encircled by age and by medication which are not helping
I am in a Stalingrad style stalemate with it right now |

"Yes.
Not so much nowadays. I'm too darn lazy to change anything.
I feel really lazy often. Which is why I’ve not stuck with gym or diets. But I hope this time is different. "
I wouldn't even contemplate the gym.
We used to swim a few times a week but the most convenient pool closed so we just don't go 🤷♀️.
I guess though I've reached a point in life where any changes I want to make are fairly easy because I really want to. |

Oh yeah often!
sometimes you need to hit the bottom or have a harsh ‘pruning’ before you can grow again it hurts like hell & you usually go backwards before you go Forward. Over the long-term growth and progress is never anything like linear , it’s back sliding, lots of flat and then occasional massive steps up to new levels when you say why the fuck did I not do this months or years ago? |

Yes! I reached that point with my weight a couple of years ago as it had just crept on and I suddenly realised if I didn’t lose it now it was going to stick forever. I made the choice to start cooking properly and added walking into my daily routine. It been slow and steady but I’m glad I made the change as I feel healthier all round than I did at the start xx 😘 |

Ahhh thanks Pickle ❤️
And good luck for your changes too! It's great that you've been able to reflect and pinpoint where you need to change things and then take those steps to do it! |

When you feel to lazy to do it you just have to kick yourself in the arse to just do it and you'll feel better for doing that.
It works for me |

Two choices.
Comfort zone or out of the comfort zone.
Most choose comfort because it's easy.
Those who choose to go out of the comfort zone are willing to work hard on changing themselves; mind, body, soul, environment....
Stepping out if the comfort zone is not a chore.
It's a thrill. A challenge. It's what life is about! |
