My lack of motivation for exercise is killing me!

It's strange, I love the feeling of being active exercising but my gosh my motivation has got the better of me.

I loved swimming and had been swimming a mile 3 times a week with daily 3k to 5k walks.

I'm a big guy always have been, but fit!

I think it's because I get bored doing it by myself, lack of friendships that have I have a things in common. My wife works long hours and also feels the lack of motivation after work.

Stuck in a rut! Anyone local to me fancy kicking me up the arse!!

Check out the Cheltenham 5k Parkrun. It's free and you get to meet new people while improving your fitness.

What Naomilatte said is a great suggestion. Park runs are not only there for runners of all abilities but, to help people interact with other's. Possibly join a local running group (often found on FB), they also cater for all abilities and age's and it's a great way to get into a routine off fitness and socialising.
