Receiving threats

Why do some men think it's okay to threaten women because you reject them? I had a guy messaging me that he's gonna find me and take me, and it really scary. I have blocked and reported but it seems like nothing happens to their account...?
I wonder why they just get away with it? Do reports ever get noticed?

All reports to Admin are investigated, which can lead to various actions being taken, including accounts being removed.

Women can be just as bad from my experience. I turned a woman down and she literally sent me my address and threatened to turn up at my house and show my family my fab pics. Luckily she was all talk but definitely made me think about my proximity. |

I've had some pretty unpleasant responses to polite no thank you's which is why I don't reply to profiles I am not I terested in. But some still send abuse when you don't reply.

To answer your question. Some people just can't handle being rejected or they have been rejected so many times their ego breaks and you're just the hammer to their glass ego |

Unfortunately you are not the first forum thread I have read whose topic is about receiving a threat. I do not get why someone would write something on this site to upset someone else. It makes no sense. Hope Admin do something about it for you. So sorry you were upset. |

Thank you. I just either ignore the message if they're within a mile of me or just send them a you're not my type message if I reject them.
I think that this is just as bad as the dating scene. |

I'd say admins do a good enough job keeping things safe on the site (given the minimum amount of time and tools they have) ...sometimes it does take a while for actions to be taken, sometimes more people have to report an acount. Most of these are empty threats that come from a bruised fragile ego, however caution is aleays advised when interacting with anyone on the site |

And return they do, making profile after profile in order to message you.
Sorry to hear you’ve experienced this OP. I’ve had all manner of threats over the years, including the threats to find me and “out me”. There are a number of men who cannot take rejection well at all! |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
