It worked for me in Bulgaria! The nearest couple were also in Bulgaria but 250 miles away. Also works in the Caribbean. So technology is a wonderful thing and it also means you are being tracked.
It's going to work but your postcode is still going to list you as there. Only those checking who's near will see your proximity. It might include people in other countries too.
