This is a very random question but it always intrigues me and I wonder what the accepted approach is?
How much toilet paper do you use per wipe for a no.2?
4 pieces on initial wipe then 2 pieces thereafter, always folded in half |

A few alternatives to papers and wipes mentioned alread for good measure
Bidet?
A bidet is a fixture that bidet is a standalone fixture that sprays water to cleanse your nether regions after using the toilet.
Japanese toilets?
The most common feature of Japanese toilets is also the bidet, which is an automatic stream of water designed to wash your rear providing a thorough cleansing using water, eliminating the need for wiping with toilet paper beforehand.
A nozzle (often called a cleaning wand or cleaning nozzle) appears under the toilet seat and sprays your bottom with water.
Some models also feature an additional cleaning WAND for women.
Handheld showers? Also used for similar purpose by some
A variety of leavesfor when needs must? Apparently mullein's soft, velvety leaves known as "cowboy toilet paper," mullein's make it a great option for wiping as is lamb's ear too
IMPORTANT NOTE:Always wash your hands.
