They enjoy those pictures. They bring back wonderful memories. The date is clearly displayed so I don’t see a problem 🤷♀️
What I find problematic is old old photos being re-uploaded as though new. |

I can think of some perfectly fine reasons.
I have pics from certain places, or with certain people that I feel a connection to and even reflect who I am as a person. Nothing from 20 years ago though.
I don't think it's always to deceive, especially if there's other, more recent, pics there. Just let people do their thing really, as far as I am concerned. |

I get that people like how they looked when they looked younger, well that’s no excuse to put them on their profile, stick them in an album and she can flick through them while watching only fools and horses |

Years ago, I met a guy who looked nothing like his pictures. The pictures were 20yrs and he had uploaded them onto fab within the year. I questioned him at the time before meeting, and he said they were recent.
We met, and he definitely looked 20 + yrs old than his picture. Again I questioned, he said that I eould of met him if he you'd the truth.
I left once I finished my drink and then blocked within a few minutes.

Some of ours are from 2012.
If I'm not deluded enough to think I still look the same I hope no one else would be.
As long as there are genuinely up to date ones too I can't see it's too much of a problem.
I would be a bit miffed if someone uploaded a 20 year old picture claiming it was current |

I got ones starting from 2015...but seriously if you can be bothered to go all the way back to the start of my photo gallery....you really have got far too much time on your hands....😸
I've still got them on there because of the photo allowance on here..
another site I'm on you're only allowed a maximum of 20 photos..so obviously I don't have ancient ones.. |

One of mine was at least 30 years out of data. I thought he was leaning against a vintage Ford car at a show or something. It was probably his car from the 80s.
I can't remember his Fab age but it must have been in the late 30s early 40s as that was the age range I'd put.

I think i may have stumbled across a profile that you may, or may not, be refering too.
They are proudly deplaying a "20" emblem on their pics to show that this is their 20 year anniversary on fab.
Good luck to them and they both still look incredibly sexy and smitten with each other.

Yeah, I agree with this. No one is looking at old pics and thinking "well they definitely look like that now!", so they can set their expectations from there. As long as they have up-to-date photos, then that's all that matters. |

I met a man for a social who turned out to be considerably older looking and fatter than his photo, it was very disappointing. He left Fab and later rejoined using the same photo, so it was quite deliberate. |

And that Nanna is why some will deliberately lie about their age, because some will still shag them.
I'll always insist on an updated photo if the ones on display are a year or older. People can deteriorate a lot in 12 months. |
