Did you really think that sectarian Belfast was a true example of the rest of the world ?
Armed police exist … special training for a select few … try training the wholly force when not to shoot .. that is the skill the gun is not the deterrent it’s the ability of the man or women with the figure on trigger |

A more pressing issue….can they fucking clean up their horse shit? I know it’s not going to blind children but they just leave it right in the street on a Saturday afternoon.

I don't think he was patronising I think your the one that never looked outside your own country the first time I went to Holland was the first time I'd see police with a gun but I knew before I left England not all countries are the same . |

I was young. First time I left Northern Ireland was to go to a gig in London. When I got off the plane the police were armed and took us to fill in anti terrorism forms.
So didn't see unarmed police until the next night. |

Most armed police do not carry arms until they get called to an incident, then they collect thier guns.. Unless they are on protection duty or at a premises that requires armed protection..
I know this is true my neighbour is armed police... |

I suppose that was the time I hope things have changed now when you come over but id still not want police to carry them |
