A nice holiday destination with someone who's a complete stranger would be fun surely??

The unknown would be so interesting 🤔

Unless you’re woken up with a knife through the eyeball by a psychopath

Context could help here...

Randomly suggesting a stranger comes on on holiday (especially when pitched on a swingers site) definitely has a bit of a psycho killer vibe!

Travelling solo, meeting other solo travellers while seeing the world; thousands do it year in year out while backpacking, and have some of the most lifechanging and amazing experiences.

I've done this (by accident). Was doing a road trip from South Africa to Mozambique and the girl I was going with randomly brought a guy she met in a bar the night before. Luckily he was really nice (and hot).

Not sure I could commit to a meal with a complete stranger, in case we didn’t get on. So a holiday? That would send a shiver down my spine

Well nothing physically happened between any of us. He did get stung by a jellyfish, got bitten by bed bugs and then got malaria right at the end so perhaps wasn't such a good holiday for him.

Meeting new people while solo travelling because you made a connection yeah….but a holiday with some random from a swingers site sounds like a great way to be featured on a missing persons notice.

I can’t think of many things worse OP tbh.

Wasting my money going on holiday with someone I don’t know doesn’t sound like fun to me.

It was bad enough going on holiday with my ex-husbands!

I choose solo holidays ♥️

Couldn’t agree more, a solo holiday and then if you wanted to, meeting new people that way is a far better proposition.

On the basis that the vast majority of people aren't compatible I would think this would be a good way to waste time and money when you could be enjoying yourself.

It sounds awful to me, i'll be honest.

I'd only want to spend time away with those I know well and like.
