My personal opinion, no it doesn't look better. People don't tend to think the body looks better with bits cut off it. I don't think a penis is any different.

If you need it done for medical reasons then do what you need to do. If it's not for medical reasons I can't imagine why you would choose to do it.

According to Google it can be done under a local anaesthetic and takes about 30 mins. Think you’ll need to go private though.
