This will be my last post on here or comment on the forums
After defending myself against “threats” made in my inbox I received some time on the naughty step whilst those that made them stay posting even after I reported with proof
This to me proves there is a two or multi tier system here. What is acceptable for some to say is clearly not for others
What I have learned is a few fold:
1. Forum mods are not admins, admins are different, in 12 years I never knew this.
2. That I am strong enough not be affected by threats made personally to me
3. That in all honesty I don’t want to be part of any forum that allows this behaviour as some people may have their mental health affected by the toxicity of what is accepted
So I genuinely wish you all the best, the good people and the not so good people, it is amazing how many have defended the messages I have received
I will not be responding to anything, or maybe the nothing, that is posted in this thread.

Sorry about your experiences.
I agree that the behaviour of others, particularly groups, can affect people and their mental health. It’s why I often take breaks when people upset me or disturb my peace. Maybe just a break will help?
Look after yourself and hope that this thread is filled with people wishing you well and complimenting your presence. |

I'm so sorry to both read of your experience Jack, and that it even happened at all. I'm pleased you have the resilience to cope with this, and of course you must deal with it in the manner you feel appropriate, but I - like those above me - will miss your posts and very much hope that you will venture back into the forum again one day. 🫂 |

A couple of points.
People wouldn't get a ban from the forum if they had sent abuse through the mail system. Forum mods can only ban people from the forum if they break forum rules.
Your ban on the forum was because you broke rules while you were answering a comment somebody had made on the forum.
Admin say there has been no report for threats in your mailbox so can you try again to report.
