"Why can’t I buy tins of sardines in tomato sauce?"
Shops are low on stock on many things. Pain in the arse having to change what you want to what you can get.
Some say it's the AI attack and others say it's Brexit etc etc |

I asked myself this very question a few weeks ago, and it transpires that Morocco is the main exporter of canned sardines, but the Moroccan waters have been overfished and there are almost no sardines left in the sea. So until we can find another major supplier and get a trade agreement, or the remaining sardines get their freak on and repopulate, sardines will be off the menu for a while. |

Many thanks.
So I’ll have to make do with mackerel at more than twice the price.

"Can you just buy a tin of ordinary sardines and a bottle of ketchup?
No idea if it would work. I don't like sardines.
*I do like ketchup though. "
