I need some recommendations for a movie tonight...either a thriller or horror (either way) but something that keeps you on edge for the entire time. Please 🙏

"Dead Man's Shoes"

Excellent shout. I’d also class The Departed as a good suspense movie.

La Confidential is one of my favourite films ever, but watch out as it's complex.

"The Shining"

Even if you have seen it before, it still keeps you "on edge".

I'm not sure about susspenful, but the only movie to ever have a massive psychological effect in me was Oliver stones natural born killers. The thought that there are people out there that have been pushed into murder is a scary thought

Christ the one where the women go hiking for a weekend and go into a cave - the descent?? Not sure if that the right name??

It was terrifying and psychologically disturbing

There's a one called back country, I think, its about a couple that go camping in the mountains and a bear stalks them, pretty gruesome and thrilling

I'm a fan of the classics, alien all the way! However if you're after something tense to watch that's a little more modern and understated - I couldn't recommend hereditary or midsommar enough!
