Do you miss a good face to face flirt?

I can't remember the last time I did it.

I really miss it. I'm single but when I go out I'm always with my girlfriends or my family.

I'm 49 and not dating, so is it possible to have a good flirt nowadays? If so in what circumstances do you do it? Where are you etc.

Is 49 too old to be able to do this anymore?

Tips please or send care packages as I fear I may never get to do it again! 🤭

I've sort of become oblivious to being flirted with. I will mention something to Lucy about an interaction or person met and she'll sometimes tell me that sounds like they're flirting with me. Same with being checked out, I dont clock it. But she spots it and let's me know.

I think socials will help with flirting and getting in that headspace.

My partner T says im a cringe fest when we go out as I have no filter and will chat up and have banter with everyone I meet. I love spicing up conversations, those naughty winks, smiles and everything else in between.

Face to face meeting is always the best way as you are rarely misunderstood. Texts can be mis interpreted occasionally. Always easier to judge reactions where you can see someone's face and body language.

Yes face to face is so fun!

I just don't do it when I'm out. I think it's partly me in my head saying nobody is going to fancy me enough to flirt with me.

I would welcome it.

I love face-to-face flirting, I even dream about it sometimes. I flirted with a girl in B&Q a couple of weeks ago because she smelt gorgeous - she was wearing YSL libra but wasn’t. Interested in a date, but it was still fun. I’m massively flirted with the sitting Tennant in a house I bought, so much she came round for tea a few times after she moved out and stole Plants, but it never led to anything. There’s a neighbour I flirt with a lot and we have some quite nice hugs that last a little bit too long.

I don’t think you’re ever too old to flirt if you can do it tastefully with a bit of humour and not in a weird way.

Yeah I miss it, the catching of the eye across the bar…it all seems to be online now and I think it’s has taken a lot of the fun out of it!

To be really honest, i wouldn't know if someone was flirting with me or not.

Yeppers! Not in years for me though and I'd say I'm pretty useless at it as a result, but a good chat that makes you think twice that doesn't lead anywhere always puts you a spring in your step.

It's great too when you know someone better and you're bouncing off each other not caring who else is around saying, bumping, taking looks at each other, your a half step from getting a room but neither say it just enjoy the fun.

When I said about flirting I meant when it's obvious and you both know that's what you're doing.
