In my Doctor's recently - when they left the room and I was idly reading information sellotaped to the wall, there was an alert about an increase in syphyllis, specifically and unexpectedly amongst sex workers, that they couldn't explain and warning GPs to be vigilant for any of the symptoms in patients.
So it's all around us - I can't believe statistically that fab users are somehow all clear...focus on your own protection, do your due diligence before meeting - don't be pressured into anything you are uncomfortable with, regularly look at your bits - oees something look / smell differently ? and test for peace of mind

Nope not surprised. We have met men who looked nonplussed when I've asked Mr N for a condom, who are 'allergic' to them, who said " I think we can trust each other", who claim that condoms made them lose their erection.
Whenever the subject of safer sex comes up lots of people say they only bareback with 'regulars' or 'trusted partners' this always makes me laugh, half the people who swing can't tell the truth about how old they are let alone anything else.
All anyone can do is protect themselves. |

Is this an observation based on profile images, sights in clubs or personal experience?
Because yep, you'll see all sorts on profiles. Sometimes it's just couples so expected, sometimes it's ex long term partners (of course they'll often say that when it actually isn't) and sometimes it's just porn.
I've never experienced anyone in clubs not using condoms or asking for them to be used. I've actually seen people stop mid play and go hunting because the ones at hand were either too large, too small or weren't latex free for those with allergies. 🤷♂️
And it's always been discussed on private meets.
I'm sure it happens. It's why frwquent testing is a must. And SH:24 are currently offering free additional Hep C testing via the NHS too. I had two boxes drop through the letterbox yesterday so there'll be twice the usual finger stabbing going on come Monday. 😁 |
