I always just hide profile but out of 13 meets, only 5 now show as the rest have left the site "
I had a couples profile with almost 200 verifications and because the profile hadn't been used for a long time it got deleted and I lost them all. |

It's worth looking at your profile from time to time, including checking for the written age, compared with your actual profile age.  |

I’ve had people refuse to meet me, because my ‘body count’ makes me look like ‘a player’…….but I’ve been using Fab for over 13 years, and some of my tally is from deleted profiles from back in the day…..
Then again, I’ve also met several single ladies who don’t give out veris, because they don’t want attention from other guys who think they’re fair game……
As long as you’re photo-verified by the site to prove you’re genuine, and maybe one or two meet veris, just enjoy the site for what it can provide  |

And yes I think people pay too much credence to verifications as some of my bets meets are 'non verified' for the reasons you mention |

The crazy thing about Fab and the importance SOME people in here put in to veris is; you can have 400 meet veris stating what an incredible person you are, but if you haven't had a meet veri in the last 6 months, you're cast out on to the rubbish pile, nobody is interested..... 
I use another site to meet women, and it doesn't run a verification system at all, so all the person you're chatting with has to go on, is the personality you put across through your messaging. It works very well, and has the added benefit of no "Omg, you went with her? I'm not interested thanks...." 
Veris can be useful, but they can also work against you! Crazy world, Fab at times......  |
