I think as people age there'll be a smaller pool who is attracted to them. And it must be crap because sex can be important. Feeling seen, desirable etc. But there's nothing you can do about it. Blaming it on an 'ism that doesn't exist in this situation won't help things. Are there other avenues for you? |

I agree that ageism is rife on this site but then I find it's rife in society.
If you mean , O.P , that someone thinks you are too old for them to fuck, that is not ageism.
Ageism is one of the characteristics protected by law and if I reported each thread or each person that makes a cheap ill thought out ageist joke and places me into a stereotype , there would be hardly any people left.....
It isn't as prominent in the media as racism but believe me .... it exists. |

I've never experienced it. I signed up aged 52 and haven't had a single conversation about my age in the 9 years since.
It hasn't restricted my fab experiences.
I do have a very rigid lower age filter though because I've no interest in meeting women of a similar age to my daughters so if people in their 20s and 30s think I'm ageist that's on them not me. |

Fair comment and comparison however I find most derogatory comments on here are aimed toward the age of women which could be because the site is mostly populated by men, most of which wont be interested in making ageist comments against men. |
