Want to get a lovely nostalgia thread going, which will either make you smile, or fill you with rage that they no longer exist 😅

What are some of your life favourites that no longer grace the shop shelves with their presence?

Sweets -Polo Fruits and Polo Citrus Sharp. Like what the F, Nestle? These things were god tier sweets. These things got me through secondary school, The citrus in particular.

Chocolate -

Taz Bars - existed alongside the Freddo, the latter which is still going strong, albeit not to the same level of deliciousness it once was. Miss the little Aussie devil gracing my local newsagents

Mars Delight - Anyone remember this bad boy?

Drink -

Back in 2004, Fanta came out with a flavour called Zesty Berry, which was discontinued a year or so later. I miss this most of all because my late friend who passed away in 2004, was obsessed with this drink. What I would give to taste this drink again.

What are y'alls most missed treats?

I’m a simple man of simple pleasures but I remember when a Freddo was 10p and it wasn’t the best chocolate but you could taste the bargain you were getting!

Chocolate cigarettes. That chocolate tasted different and it had a grittiness to it.

Also those sweets that looked like ultra realistic pebbles and rocks.

And finally - chewy pints and bottles of beer

Did you have that urban legend that if you bit the top and sucked the bottle, real beer would come out?
