Built model railways and I think Star Trek V is underrated. There are fan made videos on yt of updated CGI effects to change the practical effects. I think Shatner himself has seen them. |

Star Trek V is definitely an underrated film, although it suffered from a low budget, poor special effects. While the idea is essentially fine, I think the script could have benefited from a proper rewrite, just to tighten things up and give the other cast members more to do. Though from what I have heard, William shatter was a an excellent director and well liked by the cast.
That said, I love the opening scene, and that moment between Kirk, bones and spock in the wheel house all discussing their internal pain is quite touching.
Star Trek died with enterprise though. STD, new worlds and jar jar Abraham’s verse are all terrible. I really miss the well written shows like TNG which showed us adults treating my others either respect and offering us hope. We need more shows like that. |

Others regard me as a nerd. I don’t.
I’m into modular synthesis, play lots of instruments and collect vinyl records and dj the old fashioned way with technics.
These days I think being a nerd is anyone who doesn’t sit in front of the television or scroll internet shit all day |

I love good acid I, like Star Trek TNG, voyager, Babylon 5 etc. there just isn’t any around right now sadly.
I also love maps, always have done. Some of my earliest memories were of making maps. I never tell anyone of course otherwise they would buy me nothing but maps for Christmas. But yeah I’m a total map nerd. |

Definitely a nerd. I used to run a bookshop and am a massive fan of graphic novels.
Spent a long time as a teenager painting Warhammer and gaming I just don't have enough free time to do it now.

Total nerd , LOTR , Thomas Covenant, Alan Dean Foster, Sandman, pc gamer, too many to mention, sci fi program watcher, ( Foundation, Severance and so on) A.I. and next gen to come are all fascinating to me as we sit on the edge of a step change in society and the working world. Mx
