Anyone else have to look things up on urban dictionary sometimes?
What’s a phrase or acronym you see on here that you don’t know?

I’m not sure that’s true. I’ve been using forums since around 1999 and the use of acronyms is very high because it just saves space , which back then was really important, not so much now, but a lot of the old Usenet conventions have stayed on Internet forums, like RTFM & YMMV.

My rule is if I have to resort to Urban Dictionary to find an answer, I'm asking the wrong question. I've been burned too many times. Some of those images are not going to leave my mind I a hurry. |

And most people on those forms wouldn’t have a clue what BBC was, but people use it here regularly, are you suggesting they are showing off? |
