I don't do it intentionally.
I'll go into the toilet to relieve myself.
While I'm asleep, however, he will be at the mercy of my bowels.
Which is why I try to eat low fodmap for a couple of days if I know I'm staying over.

I think I'll always try to hold it in until I can do it somewhere away from other humans.
Not because I'm embarrassed or don't want them to know that I fart. Just because with the way I eat ignoring all my intolerances my farts can be fucking vicious. It's impolite to subject other people's noses to them when I can leave the area and do it somewhere else 💜 |

Back in the early days, I stayed in a hotel room with a mezzanine layout. One evening, I felt really bloated, so I went downstairs to the bathroom, shut the door, and let one go, thinking I had some privacy. What I didn’t realize was how easily sound traveled through the room. When I came back up, she gave me a subtle smirk, nothing too obvious. That was the point where the wife and I knew we were right for each other. Very early on in out relationship, she had been holding onto them and releasing them in the middle of the night, as she was mortified of my possible reaction.
One time, I noticed she she looked uncomfortable, and she admitted she needed to fart. I told her to just let it out, and she certainly did!
We knew it was true love after she was comfortable letting rip around me. I've regretted it ever since (she holds a record of a 16-second fart!) but we recently celebrated 20 years together.

It depends, can't remember how long it was before I farted in front of Jay but he had never farted in front of anyone until he met me  soon brought him down to my level. We used to have farting competions |

An ex partner of mine had some gastric issues so didn't really have full control of when she was gonna let one go. Happened in a supermarket and I could she was mortified so I audibly claimed responsibility. It became our thing, she would squeeze my arm to alert me and I would make it look like I did it.
