Being an absolute dick on here, like you read stuff and no I have to respond or oh they clearly think they are a nine when really a six would be fair ( I’m a four by the way so no malice) but wow put the phone down and do something productive |

I have read some horrific profiles on here over time, self entitled bollocks (from mostly women sadly) who think they are truly something special - I can't imagine who even wants to meet walking egos like that 😱

It’s not ‘weird’ these people male and females are ‘rating’ themselves by their messaging and general demeanour, I couldn’t care less what they look like, a deeper connection requires people to go beyond what you can see, yes there has to be an attraction but I’ve met some stunning people and they aren’t necessarily perfect on the outside
I’m aware a 0-10 ‘rating would appear a little crass, I’m also aware I need to care less about how people respond to me, it might not be a ‘me’ problem after all |

I mostly do the above ‘bite my tongue’ but every now and again I’m incredulous about how they appear to think, normally when this has happened before I’ve took a break for a few weeks, when you say ‘deal’ with them, I am interacting with them repeatedly, back and forth, I guess the more you talk to someone the more they reveal, there’s certain things we all won’t stand for |

Look 9 times out of 10 if I'm frustrated on here it's because I've seen something horrendous in my work, then I come here and see yet another "what about me/rate my dick" thread and think is this all we are as people?
I stand on calling out bullshit but I know I do it too much sometimes, and I have done it here. Honesty is great but subtlety is better, and rating people on any level is just wrong. Everyone is a 10 to someone and its fuck all to do with pictures I guarantee.

If I find myself typing out anything negative I just cancel out of the post. I use fab for relaxing and having the craic and flirts with people. Not to hate or get pissed off.
The only thing I would post comment on is if I see something meant to do harm or instigate hate on here. There are threads started that are divisive and unhelpful.
I think there are times as human beings that it's important to call people out. Not in an aggressive way. Conversationally. Carefully. Measured.
Just like when someone tries to cut a person down as the butt of a racist or sexist joke and you calmly ask them to explain it to you. People sometimes need a mirror held up. Even if it's 'just online'. |
