This is MB's friendly chat thread to say hello to anyone who wants to come in, have a chat and build some friendships too. I suppose I have enjoyed the interaction with all of you lovely people and we had lots of laughs in some of the threads. Not always that easy though for new people, so they are particularly welcome on this thread and any that may follow.
A safe place for all to come say hello and share how your day has been or anything else you want to chat about.

Grrrr, the windscreen can't be repaired so have to wait a week for a replacement windscreen to be ordered.

Luckily it's all being done on the insurance and the excess amount is the same regardless of repair or replace. Its annoying more than anything. |

The ironing pule thought it was going to win, then I remembered it was school holidays so no need for school uniform to be dealt with. Now I know that I "could" iron it all now and feel really smug in September but I could also ignore it and have a glass of wine instead |

It’s been an emotional couple of days after attending the funeral of a friends son and then my first real trip away since my breakdown. The teen is on the other side of the world having a great time apparently but I am missing him, since got 12 days before he is home.

Better today than yesterday. It was a beautiful but heartbreaking service and not being able to get a cuddle from my teen, who is the same age,afterwards made it harder. But my sadness is nothing compared to my friends, she has amazed me with her strength over the last few weeks. |
