Well, in this beautiful location where I live with a forest backdrop, I've seen blue tits prevalent in winter as it gets colder, I've seen great tits out on the hunt, and now and again I catch site of a long tailed tit, but never had a black tit land in my garden. This has made me wonder if the black tit is a sub species of the black bird. A good project for all the up and coming David Attenborough's to pursue perhaps. |
