I was planning to drive up to Swindon to see a film, however, it is unlikely I would risk it if there is still snow and ice on the ground.
I shall stay in the comfort of my nice warm home instead! |

The forecast says this snow and ice and freezing temps will last well into the weekend and possibly into next week
Stay home sung and warm if poss specially if you can get a sexy fella to join you. |

I have made a pledge that i am being teetotal this month as i gave my liver a doing over the festive season.
Plan to stay in and just do heehaw as i am also skint.
Problem is i have a stash of booze still to be drank from Xmas and its just shouting at me to get opened.
It will be a challenging month let me tell you!!! |

Fortunately, even though we’ve had quite a lot of snow here today, most of the roads are clear or at least not too much like an ice-ring. A few surrounding counties are not so lucky, so some of my colleagues tell me. I’ve had two work meetings today… I made them come to my house
But this thread did make me wonder how many people have been put off arranging daytime meets for fear of being snowed in somewhere they shouldn’t be…. Before anyone starts on the ‘cheats’ thing, I’m think more of people who make detours whilst out working and then having to explain to their employer why they are stuck miles away from where they should be.

I wouldn't mind.. but in the north east it has been snowing basically steadily for the last 3 weeks....
the novelty has worn off.... lol
could have had a meet tonight... but I know If i go out I am going to have a hell of a struggle getting back.....so I am not going to risk it....
I am use to working getting in the way of my social life... but not the bloddy weather... lol |
