Why do people, who you have not had any kind of contact with send random friend invites? Single guys, couples, women.. We had 27 today from people we don't know.

Its very strange, we wouldn't friend anyone we haven't met in RL.

I think most times, 9 times out of 10, it is people being nosey and wanting to access the friend only pictures and videos. Of course, I could be wrong, but that is I think is the case.

Somewhere in the middle not the.....

I get a few a day, they just think theres possibly something more juicy in the friends folder. I leave them in the request line so they cant request again

It's because they are being audacious and taking a chance that 'you' might accept their request and give them an insight into your personal photos, whilst probably offering nothing in return.

I've never understood this practice.
