Carry me Home by AC/DC. Not on any album it was a b side of one of their Australian only singles. Bon sings about getting partying and d*unk so he virtually collapses on the floor. Fate would eventually make this a reality. |

"Even flow - Pearl Jam.... actually quite a few of their songs tell stories only obvious when you actually read the lyrics"
Very much agree with this, and you're quite right, you need to READ the lyrics. Eddie Vedder's dictionary isn't clear, but you hear intriguing snippets that trigger the imagination and you want to know more. |

Art Garfunkel - Bright Eyes
Mike Oldfield - Moonlight Shadow ( and no, it’s not the story of Dave Angel! )
Sherman Kelly (originally) - Dancing in the Moonlight. It’s quite grim.
Rolf Harris (I know, I know) - Two Little Boys.

Homeward Bound - Simon and Garfunkel
A plaque commemorates the writing at my local train station in Widnes because it is widely thought thats where the song was written while paul Simon was waiting for a train, although there are other suggestions the station could have been Warrington. |
