I am still so embarrassed to having suggested this site to a friend a couple of years ago … she was a victim of domestic violence. Messages she got from Neanderthals brought it all back. It was mortifying for me as my experience has been different.
It can be such a scary place for women just signing up. |

Been called a war monger a number of times
Told to jump off a bridge because of a forum post about ptsd
Told to go K myself because I refused to meet a woman as my mental health was a mess

Nothing specific but just the sheer entitlement of some people and then the subsequent petty behaviour when they get knocked back/ignored. A common one is people expecting an immediate meet or assuming that because you have no plans you're free to meet them. |

We've had a fair amount of abuse and the like but the worst was from a vegan couple who called me a murderer and what they'd do to me for not being vegan. Then the bodyshaming of P from them every though it was nothing to do with her.
Naturally they're still on the site and nothing was done to them.
