By the beach...

He makes the role so real doesn't he!...it's that thing he does with his mouth " why, so, serious" makes me shiver 🤣

Heath was amazing as the joker

Joaquin was amazing as Arthur

Jack Nicholson was pure theatre and enjoyable as he always is.

Leto can put himself in the naughty corner and hang his head in shame.

I would pick Jack Nicholson as a runner-up from Tim Burton's take on Batman.

The entire Batman saga was utterly ruined for me though my George Clooney and Arnie. Thankfully redeemed by the later movies

That was the first Batman movie I ever saw. At least Uma Thurman was amazingly sexy as Poison Ivy

Tough choice between Batman Vs Batman returns both making up my childhood but Batman edges it because of Kim Basinger over Michelle Pfeiffer

I disagree. A more appropriate punishment would be being beaten by crocs instead

Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal of the Joker is widely praised for its depth and psychological complexity, earning him an Academy Award for Best Actor.

I'm absolutely torn between Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.

In Burton's 1989 Batman the star of the show was meant to be Michael Keaton but Jack Nicholson completely stole the show. Even the late, great Jack Palance's performance as Carl Grissom couldn't compete.

But...Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was something unexpected. After the dross that was Batman & Robin up until The Dark Knight Rises I was wary of watching but Heath Ledger nailed it. Such a shame it turned out to be his last role..

After the absolute gorgeous genius of Heath, Romero probably inspired all of the others.
