What's the last movie you watched and how was it?

This month has been great for horror films. I watched "Bring her back" last week and "Weapons" this week. Both were pretty good. "Together" which is releasing in a week has been getting good reviews too.

Nobody.

Was actually pleasantly surprised and being a Liverpool supporter i had a big grin on my face when you’ll never walk alone started playing near the end of the film.

I watched the new War of The Worlds on Amazon, I have been hearing how bad it is so I had to watch it and I am happy to report it exceeded all of my badness expectations, loved it 10/10.

I finished watching the last part of Masaki Kobayashi's Human Condidtion trilogy, I wouldn't recommend doing it all in one go but it was a great watch.

Transsexual Transylvania

I saw the new Fantastic Four on Wednesday, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Marvel is regaining the mojo a bit, with the last two (FF and Thunderbolts).

The Naked Gun - definition of fun time at the cinema. I was lucky that my screening was almost full, great to have so many laughing together. Highly recommend!

It's a proper joke every minute type of comedy, the kind I thought they'd stopped making.

Went to the cinema the other week to see 28 years later, and really enjoyed it, particularly the end 😂😂😂😂.... Massive horror movie buff and go to conventions etc.

I watched Naked Gun to compensate for the horrific stuff I saw in "Bring her back". It was fun

Last movie hat I watched at the cinema was the new fantastic 4 movie, which was decent (one of the better marvel movies in the last years) but still a pretty forgettable...

Prior to that I saw a movie called "Warfare", which was absolutely amazing...the cinematography makes you feel like you are part of that military squat and keeps you on suspense for all the duration of the movie, plus the acting was great as well.

The last movie I saw on TV was this Netflix movie called "My Oxford Year" - a sad movie masked as a rom com, with all the clichés a rom com can give to you (and the only reason I watched it is because I like the actor that plays the male love interest- he's probably the best part of the movie)

We watched The Ballad of Wallis Island at the cinema during the week.

It is an outstanding film - very amusing, original and moving. Richard Curtis described it as one of the best British films ever.

Support the British film industry and go and see it!

I saw bring her back and enjoyed it. It fits in the A24 horror mold pretty well, but I like that sort of things. Probably not quite as good as Talk to her.

Not for the first time I really enjoyed Sally Hawkins performance.

Recently saw both the blade runner movies in theatre as part of a sci fi festival. Those soundtracks hit quite differently in the theatres.

Looking forward to seeing Weapons but I didn't have a clue what was going on in Bring Her Back

Just finished Maria

Fantastic 4 : First Steps

War of the Worlds (Amazon) better than I expected, different take and filmed for how we communicate now, it felt it could have come under the Black Mirror umbrella.

John Ford's The Cavalry Trilogy

I watched The War Of The Worlds with Ice Cube. It was rubbish, too much time spent watching Ice Cubes character make calls or do computer stuff.

K-pop Demon Hunters... it was all over social media and curiosity got the better of me.

Honestly... really well made. Excellent animation, decent overall story and a good message about acceptance at its core. Whilst it's not the kind of thing I would normally search for, its worth a watch if you are considering it.
