Okay, this is maybe for us older folks, but how do you think the iconic greats would do now, if they had to start off in an x factor type scenario, I'm thinking of the likes of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Barbara Streisand, John Denver, Perry Como,not forgetting David Bowie. |

I think some of them had inherent star qualities - for example, the younger Barbra Streisand was gorgeous and had great presence. Funny Girl shows her when younger well.
Whether they would have had the interest to compete in the way that modern shows throws them together, is a different story. I think they likely all had the drive to get fame and fortune and perhaps would do whatever they could to achieve it. |
