I was a member with my now ex wife when it started and back then the forums were clique and it was difficult for single men to meet couples and women … so not much has changed
It was SH and DD (I think) just before that and the back pages of Loot before the digital age |

Originally here in 2010. It was bloody awful. Desktop only, no smartphones and very hard to sift the fakes.
Since we returned and we don't have to sit down at the computer to fight the Fab-horn, things are much better lol x |

I was on DD when it changed to SH. And before that I used Desire contact magazine. Now a days swinging is all over TV. I'm guessing it's a lot less underground now. |

According to google , fabswingers started in 2006.
I started in 2008 and there does seem to be more rude and self obsessed participants now than there were then?
But then the world seems a more rude and self centred place now? |

Desire is probably to blame for us heading this way - a copy arrived at my first house to the previous occupants - opened our eyes up so to speak! We did have an ad in there once, had 2 replies about 6mths later so not exactly ideal! |

It was before 2010. I had an account before I met the ex wife and that was 2009. 2006 to 2008 I think I got mine. Was a long time ago so can't remember exactly. |

I'm another who came on a free transfer from SH & LS around 2008.
Introduced by a friend I'd met via a TMobile chatroom! That really shows my age! A/S/L anyone? 😂
As a single guy, it was a lot easier to interact with people in the earlier days. More people were here to meet rather than just look at the pretty pictures or hunt for Fabs.
The reverse to that is that there weren't nearly as many aggressive self entitled males either.

We've been here as a couple since 2015. I had a single account before that for about a year. Now deleated.
Mr's single account was a good while before. It's still here. I think he's one of the first.
The sceane all round has changed. So many flakes and time wasters. Out of 16 invites we sent last week only 1 turned up. Clubs, we're getting 'only wanna watch' guys. We have to travel well over and hour and a half to get to a decent club. We go to play, not to be watched. Dogging, guys don't get out of cars to come and look or chat to find out. Maybe I'm the wrong sex. It's changed so much. |

It was 2006 when Fab started as a swinging couple I knew joined it. I didn't get the internet at home until 2007 when they finally connected our area up so I remember joining then and they verified me which we all though was a jolly novel new idea at the time!
Sorry OP although I can't give you a definitive date or month 2006 was definitely the year. |
