"I like norf London and would like to stay here (but that may not be possible).
Your location says NW LDN. Not to be mistaken for N LDN
Barnet is North London!"
East Barnet I can accept!
Edgware, Colindale etc no way. That’s NW. |

I like the North (from Yorkshire up to and including Scotland) generally but probably biased, and it's the part of the country I know best by far.
Northumberland coast is probably my favourite. Or Whitby.

I've actually looked into this after falling down a nuclear war/climate change rabbit hole when d*unk.
Nearly bought a house that is already setup for self-sustained living in the middle of the Scottish borders. Away from everyone and everything. Bliss. |

I dont see how this part of Barnet can be NW. Harrow is NW, the W of Barnet (Colindale/Edgware) might be NW, but this is N (above Haringey and adjoins Enfield). |

"So as I’m getting older I’ve been thinking of moving. Do you like where you live? Or where would you move to if you could ?
"
First choice would be Ypres. It's a place in Belgium. I wouldn't move there for the political or health systems. They are far more complex than anything we have here in the UK. But I would be able to attend my great grandfather's grave every night whilst the Last Post is played at the Menin Gate.
And the local people are wonderful.
Second choice would be perhaps Pula in Croatia, or anywhere in Czech Republic, or Poland.
If I was forced to stay in the UK, then it would be Aberystwyth. Apparently, it is one of the safest places in the event of our great leaders chucking nukes at each other.
Hope That Helps |

I kind of like where I live. Pretty countryside of Scotland.
But if I could I'd like to live down south. In a sweet little cottage overlooking the sea.
Think I've been watching to much Doc Martin 😛 |

A particular town in Cheshire. It's dreamy and has everything I could ever want. Aiming for there within the next fifteen.
And when I retire? A little village in Scotland has my heart. And I wouldn't mind being bent over a certain car again. Might be a bit rusty by then. |

I'm very lucky here...although I live in a small town, I'd prefer to be in the countryside. We have many beaches, Exmoor, two cities, so I think we have most things for most people? |

Too many roots here and to be honest it's a great place which suits our hobbies so wouldn't like to move anywhere else.
Only downside is the weather which can be dire although this year has been exceptional. |

We live in Norwich and it's a great city . Reasonably safe , artistic somewhat open minded with just enough going on to keep you busy . Can be in either a Forest , countryside or beach within half an hour drive in any direction .
Very happy to be here at this time of our lives but would love to retire near the coast , north Norfolk especially (not kings Lynn tho ) |

Me and my partner have been "hotel hopping' around the country now for about 4 months, and visited some amazing places. Have to say though that ATM our favourite place has been Inverness around the lochness area |

I just moved to my ideal place. I can see the sea when I open my front door. When my front windows are open I can smell and hear the sea. In my back garden it’s silent, though I occasionally hear a long parp from ships heading in or out of the port. |

Anywhere we could buy some land and rescue dogs and have some nice fields/woodlands for people to bring there dogs. We have afew places like that by us £10 for 50 minutes and you get the whole field to yourself |
