On the forums, with people you've met from Fab - are you comfortable with being open?
Would you share personal information with people on here? Your address, surname, job, family etc. |

People I have met and still me meet know personal things about me, on the forums I am very private I don't really share anything about myself on the forums, definitely not my address!  |

I'm more comfortable being open with people I've met from Fab and occasionally I'll get personal with anecdotes on the forum with regards to family experiences so I guess I'm pretty open in that regard. The only thing I won't share with anyone is my address. Can't have my wife and kids finding out about this... 😳 |

I can be quite open about the way I feel in the forums, sometimes more so than with people I know. What I'm not open about are personal details about my identity such as name, family, employment etc. |

I have with people I’ve met, because by that stage I want to be honest. There’s a limit of course, and sharing some things I’ve been through are only for close friends.
I think it’s common to keep some things private, just like on other forums and even at work. |

People I've met and become friends with, I am very open about my life with. I treat friendships I've made here as genuine friendships.
But with people I've not actually met I wouldn't give them my address and very personal identifying information. But I am open about most stuff. |

There's some things I'll share and somethings I won't.
On the public forum, very little.
In person it depends on how well I know them.

It can be easier to open up when there's a degree of anonymity. That lack of bias. Sometimes I'll use here as a sounding board to make sure I'm not being an utter twunt. 😅 |

I am pretty open, on and off Fab.
There are people I’ve met here who know absolutely everything about me. A couple of them are actually emergency contacts.
But on the forum no, I don’t disclose real name, address etc. I am pretty open about my life, eternal pain with my brother, health challenges I’m facing, etc. |

I am as open as I can be without compromising the safety of us and our family. Surname, if we're friends I wouldn't feel the need to hide it. It has happened by accident, booking things etc. Address, never. Family, no names but they do come up in conversation. |

Don't think anyone knows my surname. Used to know my address as I've had loads come to my house, but noone knows this address. Im quite open about certain things but then there are things I dont tell anyone |

I have been pretty open on here about aspects of my life but not about the details. I’m more cautious now than I was initially too. When I get to know people outside of here too, they learn more about me

I consider parts of myself little gifts to other people. I'm really private about a lot of things so I feel like I'm really open (too open) sometimes but then I'll hold certain things back. But I'll give things away eventually. Not everyone acknowledges or appreciates it but I know when I'm doing it. |

No, 4 know my 1st name on here & 1 knows where I live now, that’s it.
1 is on my FB that I’ve known for the whole 18 months I’ve been on fab, my FB doesn’t have my real name on it.
I also have 2 friends that are on my Facebook who I’ve known for years on fab |
