Tbf I do think age does matter as that's why we can have age filters on our profiles if we wish.

Im 60 and some people say I look good for my age,and yes my age does come out over a lot of fabbers age restrictions what they are looking for, but who is missing out on that experience. Doesn’t really bother me. |

I’m actually 45 , shaved 3 years off. But spoke to a guy who age was “34” I said no thank you too young for me. He then told me he was actually 56!!! 22years is a bit wild!!! 😂 |

I've seen a profile thats been 48 for the last 3/4 years, don't know how admin have kept changing it. I dont see the point in lying, if it does end up leading to a meet you'd both just end up disappointed when you turn up and you're early older than you say |

I figure as a woman I've probably got till I'm 60 before I have to start reassessing my fab practices. Currently the only way I lie about my age, is in the fact I dye my hair, as I do look about 10 years older with only grey hair |

Does it matter? The lying does, the age doesn't. A couple of months out for the sake of privacy and not having everyone know your date of birth is fine. A few years out to get around people's filters and try to sleep with people that have specified that they don't want to sleep with your age group is a shitbag move.
Why do people do it? Because they think they can get away with a lie that increases their chances of getting laid.
Do you have a fun story about it? No, liars aren't fun for me.

In this day and age I don’t think anyone should give their exact age on here or another platform because of all the scammers and identity theft. I don’t mean people should take years off or even add years on, they should alter it by a few months.
We all reveal personal details about ourselves through the forums, which along with your age or DoB can be used to build up a comprehensive profile about you. |

I remember a man in a fab chat group in 2018 who had a profile age of 55 but he admitted in the group to knocking 3 years off and that he was really 58.
He has left or been removed a number of times and returned with different profiles including a couples one.
In that time his fab age has varied between 50 and 55 and the couples profile was running alongside his single one for a while and he was 50 on one and 48 on the other. I can't remember which way round.
His most recent profile had him at 55 but if what he said in that group was correct his actual age now would be 65.

I think it's pointless, if you're meeting someone then surely you just ruin it for yourself.
I have had someone turned up for a social who was obviously using photos 10 years old. I left I'm not entertaining that. |

My age is out by a few weeks and makes me older for a short time.
That's just for privacy though.
I don't see the point in lying, even though I always get told I look much younger than 51.
There a man on my updates who has gone backwards, he leaves, rejoins and loses a few years in the process.
If people lie about their age, it does tend to make me wonder what else they lie about. Especially when they've often changed their age to get round a filter. |

We've no need as we are both old.
But we have met people in clubs who are "49", but not in very good nick.
We are very cautious talking to someone a lot younger, mainly in clubs, as don't want to appear a bit creepy. We're generally not happy playing with people a lot younger than us but lots of young guys seem happy to attend my gangbangs and the mix of young and mature men at meets is delightful. |

If you have to lie about something of which you have no control over in order to appeal to someone, then they’re really not worth trying to appeal to & it makes you as the person lying less appealing too.

Probably happens a lot, we don't question peoples ages as it's more about the person(s) themselves. Our only experience where it did have an impact was a meet with a '70 year old woman and her 73 year old bloke'. To MsL2L's disappointment, he turned out to be really quite frail looking, when I mentioned this to the woman (separate room full swap) it turned out that he was actually 86..... |

I'm insecure but I can't deal with those who have the level of insecurity to lie about their age.
It just makes me think what else are they lying about/ are they insecure about.
Usually the age lie is just the tip of the iceberg.
No, I don't need an older male mature sugar daddy....my father is still alive and he's enough work on his own and at some point I'll have the unenviable task of sorting out his power of attorney end of life care and estate debts. I do not need to do that for a sexual/romantic partner right now.
No, I don't need a sugar baby boy. Because how I value myself is not tied up in youth and I don't need to be a mother to a grown adult. They either have already a mother or a wife or paid dominatrix who can do that for them.
I have limited spoons in middle age and I would like to enjoy middle age as much as possible before I become I kick the bucket or become a senior citizen. I'd like to be with people similarly middle aged in outlook.
If people feel the need to connect to people several generations older or younger that's up to them but not for me.
The funny thing is I've never lied about my age but people think I am lying about it.
It's all odd to my autistic brain. I'm going to be able to tell in person if you are much older or much younger than me so the lie puts me off and devalues you in my eyes.
That may come off as judgmental but I have trauma and autism so my brain can be very judgmental in a way that I never asked for. My brain thinks people who lie are not safe people so I will always have my guard up around them.

mainly doing men and tying men up with rope without asking them their age or them asking me my age. We are the right age because we showed ID to get into the club and we are the right mentality because we are in a club and not hiding and lying behind a computer.  |

There'd be little point in me trying to pass off as younger, but I've been tempted to put a few of extra years on. The main reason being that I now find myself too old to compete with the young guns (too much Guinness), but not old enough to fit in to most people's age related kink.
I understand and respect an age limit but we all mature and have had so many differing life experiences that shape our behaviour and body shape. Ruling people out because of age just seems shallow, if you like the look and the mind connects, who cares about age (as long as they're legal).

My mind doesn't connect sexually with most Boomers and as an Old Millenial, I end up trying to mother most of Gen Z. I don't have the mentally energy to finagle my brain into forcing a sexual connection too far outside my generation.
Might be shallow but that's the reality of how my brain and personality works.
My brain feels most relaxed, engaged and turned on with Millennials and Gen X. I'ma age out with them.
It would be ridiculous for me to compete with younger women and I do make the 60 plus men out of breath. I'm not trying to give anyone a heart attack or a broken pelvis.
