How many people realise that their friends list is visible on their profile (on a desktop, not mobile)...

I'm sure this can be turned off and thought the default was "Do not show friends list to others" or similar |

Pretty sure I did too. Only because my ex used to stalk my page.
But generally I dont see an issue with it being visible.
Ive never looked at a profile and felt the need to check who they are friends with |
