Owning your physical flaws

How do you feel about your physical flaws? Like it or not, we've all got them. Me....I'm overweight, have several surgical scars on my back and legs, short sighted and bald.

Personally, when you look at some of the toned people on here, I think, I'm in the wrong game, but, I can't change anything, so my mantra is, if they can't see past those things, they're probably not worth having near you.

Took a long time to own my flaws after my marriage went tits up, so how about you? 🤓🥷

I’ve had issues with food and exercise since my mid teens. I’m squidgier than I may perhaps like these days, but I’d much rather that than the deep-seated misery that comes with ruminating on every calorie I have and might eat.

I also have a fair few small scars from daft injuries over the years but they are what they are!

I have stretch marks which I call my life stripes from experience

Have skinny wonky left leg around knee as it’s damaged and held together with metal.

Have no big bouncy ass like many but I have small easy to handle one in place

Then I look at my plus points. Fairly attractive facially not to huge tall for a trans or big built. Chunky boobs and a nice femrod swinging between my legs that seems to act like the holy grail for many people

Most yes because as you say battle scars.

There is still one though that triggers me badly though that's a story for another day

I have stretch marks, crow lines, thinning hair which i keep short and other issues i deal with.

I tend to focus on the good about me... I'm in decent shape for a burger muncher, have decent legs, smile, great tattoos and a decent personality

My tits are small for my frame, my stomach feels odd ever since I lost too much weight too fast, I have stretch marks and scars, I hate my teeth.

But, fuck it. I'm still hot. And those who disagree, that's okay, I don't need to be everyone's cup of tea 💜

My life is written on me.

I am the age I am and I make the best of what I have.

I'm a lot happier now than even a year ago.

I always had a number in my head as a weight I ought to be. But when I reached it I could only do so by barely eating. My health was poorer, my boobs and bum faded away. And the only parts I liked were my stomach and thighs.

So I changed up my diet & my workouts, made friends with my squish and squatted my thighs & ass to a happy place. My lovely boobs and ass are back where they should be and I am loving them all.

Your to do list

I have stretch marks mainly around my belly button. I have a c section scar with a shelf of stubborn wobbly fat to the top of it, I hate it but have learned to accept that its not going anywhere 😅

Embrace your flaws ✌️

I do exercise and sometimes heat healthy but this is a thing that never changes so I just either rock it or hide it under my lingerie.

Everything gets baggier as you get older. To be honest it’s the diminishing function that I find more difficult than the deterioration in appearance.

Yes love x it’s the best way to be. Perfection is an illusion of chasing an imaginary ideal that can’t exist as we age everyday and change in time

Like most people I have scars and flaws I'm not happy with but I'm 60 years of age so I've no option but to own them.

They are part of what makes me who I am.

Somewhere in the middle not the.....

I had years of the person i loved putting me down and using them as a weapon against me...it took me a while but I no longer let them rule my life, I still have my wobbles but 🤷‍♀️.

I know I'm no model, I have some gnarly scars and skin issues in places. But the people who like me regardless of all of that and me as a person are the ones I am more bothered about having in my life than just any random person.

Are we listing them? Urgh. I have stretch marks, I am wobbly and should lose weight but I don’t bother. I have stretch marks and scars - a surgery scar on my bum which I wonder if people notice when bending me over. I look back at some of our footage and don’t like how I look, then I look at those who are ravishing me and they either don’t care, or love it all equally. So fuck it. This is me.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I had horrendous acne on my back as a teenager and young adult. I did an aggressive treatment that mostly sorted it, but was left with many a mark and blemish as a result.

I've learned to accept it over the years and am no longer shy with my shirt off.

I'm extremely proud of my medically altered body. Not just anyone is going to get to see my naked body and them. Its a privilege.

I had a left breast mastectomy and LD reconstruction.

My left breast has no nipple, just an oval scar on it. I cannot feel much on that side.

I have a right hip replacement due to cancer in my hip. Have that scar also.

I'm as a result very particular who I sleep with.

London (She/Her)

I find the way I feel about my physical appearance has more to do with my mental/emotional confidence than my actual physical condition.

It’s easy to turn to fab to try to get some quick external validation, but it’s meaningless and insincere and so can actual turn out to be damaging rather than helpful to your confidence

I have lumps, bumps, scars and marks all over my body. My knees are fucked and I have a weak shoulder that never really recovered after dislocation. But they all tell my story and I'm proud of what my body has survived.

Some people will find me attractive and others won't, but that is their choice.

Lost the hair on my head in my 20s and by my mid 30s didn't even have any body hair, loosing the hair on my head was absolutely devastating but I eventually come to terms with it, loosing body hair was less of a blow, Now neither bother me, lots of guys shave their heads these days as soon as they start getting male pattern baldness and lots of guys shave or wax body hair and especially pubic hair (shame as I love hairy men) Now my only real issues are over weight and sticky out belly button.

Since I turned 40 I've stopped letting how I feel about my flaws stop me from doing things I want to do.

I'm working hard to be kinder to myself though it's hard to break the habit of a lifetime .

While I could list 100s of flaws I see , I also know that others don't see them in the way I do, just as I don't see their perceived flaws as they do.

Once you accept that, things get easier x

I’ve lost 16 stone over the last 20 months and it shows. While it’s not the be all and end all, I’m having a 360 tummy tuck, a breast lift with implants and an armpit lift in February and I’ll go back after my thighs done later in the year.

So then I can focus on what I don’t like next and fixate on that until I resolve that and the next issue consumes my life.

So in short, I’m mental

my body reads of time playing sport and working in dangerous locations

Injuries … ankle fusion, broken bones but hell it’s a life I want to tell stories to my grandchildren if I ever get any!
