After chatting for a few weeks to a lady via a dating site we both decided to go out. She wanted me to pick her up outside her home. Via her profile picture I thought she was really cute like me a professional. But on the day we met up, The lovely lady didn't at all look much like her picture. I don't know, but it was her, only she seemed to have aged by 10 to 15 years. Yeah I know a women without make up can/will look like a totally different person, but 10 to 15 years ? Fortunately or unforunately this is the same lady I'd been talking to, only she'd used an old photo, like really old. I have heard of people who fudged their age, height, weight, ect... |

OP this is an old trick used by people. I know a woman who went on a date and the guy had aged 20 years from the photos on his profile.
It happens a lot with women too, you get profiles on here pretending to be 39, when the woman in the photo is clearly at least 60 😂 |

It happened to me in my early days on fab OP. The guy that turned up was literally 20 years older than his pics.
It does happen but as SS ^^ said, maybe a video call before meeting would be best going forward.
Hope that helps 🌈 |

Were the pics printed on Kodak™ paper from 2005? |

I'd arranged several socials one weekend and had impressed on each of them that we'd meet for a drink, just for a few minutes, in the afternoon. 1 guy turned up with an overnight bag and explained that he expected us to stay together for the rest of the afternoon and night, before going to a club. I ended it quickly, as we were in no way compatible, partly as he'd agreed something by phone but behaved in opposition to this. He wasn't happy. It dampened my interest in the other dates I'd got lined up
Ever since then I repeat and emphasise what is agreed to. And usually get them to confirm in their own words what they understand we've arranged.
It can sometimes be like dealing with very young people |

That is 100% wrong for the guy to turn up with his bag expecting to stay with you overnight without prior permission.

It was real drama getting rid of him. I think I'd said we could meet for 10 or 15 minutes, have a coffee and a chat. The coercive emotional bmail and the thought of spending more than a couple of minutes was frightening. I assume he wanted to drink all day and night and fuck me |

It happens, I know some people that have been here for years and years and they're still using the same pics haha.
I update mine regularly, I even have a bare faced video and photo on my profile aswell as a clear idea of what my body is like. I don't like disingenuous people so it would be hypocritical of me not to be upfront. |

I heard of a man who actually used his son's picture! That's taking things too far. |
