Met a really nice Lady(through a friend) and we are going out tonight for the first time on a date ,as she put it.
We ve got on really well through texting and now its the next level.

Just think of it as a few hours out chatting with a friend. Don't put pressure on yourself or read too much into the meaning or purpose of the evening. Just enjoy someone else's company and put your online conversation into an in person natter.

When I started “dating” again after several years I started writing little cue cards for myself to keep the conversations going.
I found though that with the women that I
liked I never needed them.
Still handy to have to save the fear of the rabbit in the headlights moment.

Well she was 35 mins late to start off with. I sent her 2 messages in that time just saying what table number i was at and to let me know when she was 5 mins away and I d get her a drink...no reply.
When she did arrive there was no conversation for 5 mins while she fucked around on her phone.
I would/should have walked but didnt want to leave her in a bar on her own, so stuck it out for about 20 more mins then just said it wasnt working so calling it a night....not good. never mind. |
