This is gonna sound weird, but my gym those lever things to lift the bar when to want to add/remove plates for a deadlift and I think that might be my favourite thing 😅
In terms of a machine, I really like the leg extension. |

"I still prefer barbell for most pressing
If had to pick would be the pullover machine (not many gyms have one so lucky to train at a gym with one) or the pendulum squat "
I've never used the pendulum squat even though we have a few at my gym. What would you say it does better than a leg press or a hack squat? |

To be honest mate I would probably use the hack myself but ours bottoms out before getting a full stretch at the bottom mate, both do the same thing really appart from slight different resistance profiles
I find the pendulum harder on the knees also I always warm knees up fully with lying leg curls prior to using it |

Ahhh that makes sense. It does feel like you can get some crazy depth on them from what I've seen and even the hack squat can be a bit ropey on the knees depending on foot placement. I'm tempted to give them a go! |

Punching bag. If there are days I'm just not feeling it, I'll just hit the bag for like 10-15 minutes and I either feel more warmed up to work out, or finish early and at least feel I got something done. |

The design does make hitting depth easier mate great for growing quads and more knee flexion = more quads and also quads are one of the few muscles that benefit from stretch mediated hypertrophy so getting deep and pausing in the hole great for quad growth mate |
