Personally I didn't think the Mexican poetic pieces worked at all and were just an unwelcome disruption to the music and concert footage. Far too self indulgent from the filmmaker in my opinion here. The concert footage was amazing and had some great angles and close ups at times that we would never get to see otherwise.
I would have loved this movie to have had some back stage or pre concert footage mixed in, maybe some interviews from the band to add a different dynamic. |
