Recently I have been away from the site and been shut away with dealing with severe anxiety, I’m glad to say I’m slowly getting there! I didn’t write this for sympathy and I understand it’s a bit of a serious topic given the site we are on haha. But it’s super important to realise when you are struggling and to realise you aren’t on your own. I forgot how good it is to chat to people on this site

Recognising something is wrong is the most important step. Then seeking help. Glad to hear things are improving for you

Absolutely right and sorry for what you are going through but sounds like is all getting better. Small steps and keep talking and get help too as and when needed.

Mental health is serious.

And it’s good to talk.

If anyone wants to talk I’m here. As I don’t want it to get on top of anyone

It certainly is and men find it quite difficult to talk

Yes we do pal, I've been there myself in the past and agree, talking and being open is the best way to come through it!

I struggle with depression and anxiety and have for years I have found writing to be my coping system and it works for me I used to go on long walks but recent other health issues have put that on hold (anaemia & pre-diabetes) got a manic November lined up so just waiting on new year to go at it again so to speak

women feels better after they talk about their problems but men just gets angrier... they don't like to show emotions cuz they feels weaker

I suffered from PTSD last year. My friends thought I was one of the strongest and most insensitive (not sure if that was a compliment) people they knew. It hit me out the blue, night terrors about a girl who died from in my arms. At one point I woke up flaying about, hitting out at people. I immediately went and sort help, and although it’s never going to go I can manage it. Unfortunately I have 2 friends who couldn’t see a way out. The mind is a strange thing

Round the bend

Glad you're doing better, OP.

It's a cliche but it really is ok not to be ok sometimes.

That's why the likes of Andy's man club are good for people as are usually in neutral places like that

My mental health has been slipping. I have a high sex drive and was blessed through my younger years and half of it for me at least is because I'm used to having sex most days, so when I don't I get extremely frustrated. This might sound petty to some especially those who are abstinent for long periods but I think I am borderline sex addict

Have you tried any form of therapy or another way to relieve sexual tension.

I could say go a sex club or sauna but there are no guarantees there.

Hope you feel a coping mechanism

I got a off brand fleshlight, my partner made me feel like it was a disgusting thing, I understand that it's not for everyone but consider I bought her toys for years I thought what double standards. I stopped wanking so much in hopes that personal cinny would bridge the gap but I need more.

No to therapy for me, I just long for connection

there’s a group called Andy’s Man Club, best thing i ever did was step over the threshold and join them one evening, they having meetings up and down the country, google will find you’re nearest one if you’re looking for somewhere to go to sit and listen or even share with other men going through similar struggles.
