My only advice is to get your LinkedIn profile to the best level you can. Lots of valuable connections can be found too. Employers will likely look at this if they like your CV, whether you give them the link or not. |

Wow some of the people on here! Thanks, linkedin is up to date… sign on? No thank you, wont even pay quarter of my mortgage!
Honestly, this made wonder about the quality of some people on here! Wow impressive! Thanks to the genuine ones… the ones being sarcastic, you will have a taste of redundancies one day… |

Just stay focused, not sure of line of work you are in so can't give specific advise. Professional agencies an option? Sometimes difficult pre-xmas. I hope it works out well for you. |

Thank pal… I am actively applying everywhere… it is tough before Christmas! And the internal process hasnt been fair! Jokers tbh it has been procedurally unfair process and can easily be evidenced |

You've got no idea the shoes some of us have walked in 🤷♀️
It's often considered a breach of etiquette to reply privately when you ask a question publicly. |

That's why I asked on the thread"
Sure as only way to target advise but OP may not want to share in public. Someone may reoly privately if filters allow.it's a hard situation to be in but he seems determined and will get there🤞 |

Seek legal advice then. |

"I would rather discuss privately x "
In this setting, men only interested in discussing things privately are often looking to break filters in the hopes of negotiating their way into a woman's bed.
I'm not saying you're doing that. I'm explaining why you're not likely to get much luck with this approach. |

In all fairness, this is a sex site, not a jobcentre.
I know you're only networking, but there's better places you can do that, where you don't have to be anonymous. |

Got a HGV licence by any chance? Even 7.5t on grandad rights? If so, Royal mail are screaming for driver and also posties. Granted its only seasonal and i know its not everyones cup of tea, but paying nicely and could tie you over till after Christmas.
A bit of public information into the sector your looking for would help, would save alot of messages to people who are trying to help, I get discretion, but being vague. Ie if you work in legal for a massive firm that cant be named, you could say business legal (if that makes sense) |

I can see the economy collapsing based on those redundancies across various sectors, so many more people will pay no tax, NI, etc potentially some will sign on… jobs being offshored which I dont get how would it help the country! It helps the business yes but not the country and economy! Shame…
Thanks to the lovely genuine ones on here… appreciate your support |
