What’s peoples views on changing your profile sexuality to suit the person that you are chatting to or the meet they’re trying to arrange?
My personal opinion is there should be some aspects of your profile that you shouldn’t be able to change without creating a new account, sexuality being one of them. |

My opinion is it depends on the specifics of why it's changed & if it was done to be deceptive or not.
If they suddenly become straight because someone doesn't meet anyone that's bi, that's wrong.
Similarly, if say a couple changed it because they want to attract a woman to play with, for his benefit, again not good.
If someone has tried to play straight or bi and decided it wasn't for them, then I think hays ok to change it back again.
Depends on the specifics of the situation really. |

the issue is the person or persons that you may chat to change aspects of their profile to suit their needs like changing their age, smoking or non smoking and sexuality. |

I dislike people who would try to manipulate by deception, of things that some find very dear to their preferences in others. Some straight people go to Birmingham events, pretending to be bi, so they can get closer to women - it's a comparable measure.
Sexuality can vary over time. But this is different from wilful adoption of camouflage..
I think most people would value the honesty but loathe the dishonesty.
Some people apparently do have several profiles., branding themselves of various sexual types.
Profiles could perhaps list the changes that users have made. People might prefer them, to status updates |

Both smoking habits and sexual preference may change over time. Age should only go upwards.
That’s the joy of fab and online interactions really. What they put on their profile - only they know if it’s right. It’s really up to the person interacting with them to do their own due diligence on what is important to you.

I think if you're changing it to accomodate other people, that's wrong and feels deceitful to yourself and to the person you're meeting.
But if you are changing it as you no long feel the way you once did, then go ahead. Sexuality is a spectrum as we know. |
