Am I too old for a 'cougar'

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the terminology, but I often favour the company of an older woman than myself, however does this put me in the age bracket of seeking a cougar myself just because the lady is older than me? Thankyou x |

OP, when I look for women to befriend, to become acquainted with and to seek whatever else may blossom beyond that - I avoid the 'age attributed' terminologies and labels, labels which can sometimes unnecessarily restrict my options.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your preferences: just look for women that fit your mutual criteria and compatibilities. Personally I would focus less on these labels (probably because I'm old). But that's just me. 🩶 |

you don't want to be on a scolding from LB. However, I would expect Nero to give an erudite response to the accusation of being a "tart" involving the use of sophisticated language, wit, and perhaps a touch of condescension to expose the insult's triviality or LB's lack of imagination, maybe along the lines of:
"How quaint. It seems your lexicon is somewhat constrained if 'tart' is the most articulate term you can muster for disapprobation." |

I'm curious. Is there an age limit or does it just depend on age difference really?"
I have 35 on my settings to limit messages but I've been known to go younger but not really under 30 as im then old enough to be their mum I think each person's different. |

Yeah that makes sense. Thank you and I understand. I think most ladies on here would find it a bit weird to go with lads who are the same age as their son. |

Ah ha a good question one im mulling over a lot myself ( but I do know my answer really just refusing to belive im suddenly old)
Yeah number one desire since desires started happening the older confident Lady !
Never has this played out ( was a decade or two when all desires had to be kept at bay no straying)
All of a sudden I find this site then fund the perfect Lady's a few ticking all the boxes !
But then reality hits when wanting to send a message ! SORRY YOUR WAY TOO OLD aghhh

I'm going to side with Nero here.
As someone who presumably would fit right into that 'cougar' definition, it irks me incredibly that I would be given such a label.
I'm a woman... A woman of maturity in both years and mind, and my preference is for meeting someone of similar maturity of mind. So anyone who wants to label me would, I'm afraid, be judged as demonstrating a level of immaturity I don't want to be associated with.
That's just me though, I can't, and won't, speak for all women. |

OP, I think you should state on your profile that, instead of your 18-year-old girl's preferences. For me a big turn-off. I like mature men but when I chat with/ meet a younger guy (30 to 40), I check first if he states clearly he likes older women and if he has mature women verifications from.
I don't like to be the last chance for anybody. |
